Missing the print studio
Having been working intensively on my research project since September, I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel (well not the end… the middle). Once I finish this assignment & submit my research ethical approval form to the committee I can finally begin the practical  component of my research - and I cannot wait! I will be illustrating Dracula by Bram Stoker, with a...

Here is the HOT BED PRESS Flickr Stream for the 20/20 Print Exchange. Great to see so many beautiful prints in the same place, and proud to see my print nestled amongst them all.

Capstan's Bazaar Arts & Crafts Market →
I will be sharing a table with the lovely Sasha Spyrou at this event, happening this Sunday at Leaf tea Shop on Bold Street, Liverpool. Will be a lovely afternoon with lots of artists and makers and lots of delicious tea and cakes too! I will have all of my regular prints and objects for sale, but also some brand new Christmassy cards and prints too that will be hot off the press especially for...

It's been too long...
… Since I did anything remotely creative. Thanks to having flu I’m off ‘regular job’ sick I actually have time to do some drawing. Every cloud has a silver mucus covered lining, I guess. Easing myself back into the swing of things with some jellyfish boobies - why the hell not! Pictures will follow soon…

GRAFT
Three years hard graft come to an end this week, with our degree show opening this Thursday at the Art & Design Academy in Liverpool. It’s a stressful week for a few of us, doing battle with large format printers, projectors, laser cutters and even sunlight itself to produce extra special work for the event. Turns out my work is making one of the rooms have to carry a parental guidance...

ee cummings
I thought I’d follow up my post of the tiny books with what is actually inside them. I borrowed this book from my friend, and this particular poem stuck.  The books so far consist of a french fold, utilising the space inside the pages playfully to reflect the experimental form of the poem itself. Some words are hidden inside, (hopefully) echoing the intimate tone set by the poet. I am...
